NCCBA and BICBA breakfast seminar
A review of recent cases and consideration of the role and boundaries of allegations of fraud in a commercial context

Speakers: Andrew Grantham and Brad Pomfret
Andrew will speak on recent developments, including the Court of Appeal decisions in BV Nederlandse Industrie Van Eiprodukten v. Rembrandt Enterprises, Inc  EWCA Civ 596 and Winter v. Hockley Mint  EWCA Civ 2480. Brad will speak on the role of allegations of fraud in commercial cases.
The seminar will start at 8.30am and last for around 40 minutes. Breakfast sandwiches (including vegetarian options) will be served from 8am.

Andrew Grantham is a member of Kings Chambers and the Deputy Head of the Business and Property Department. He practises almost exclusively in Commercial and Chancery Dispute Resolution and specialises in cases of high value and considerable complexity. He is a former Chair of the NCCBA.
Brad Pomfret is a member of 23 Essex Street Manchester. He has a broad commercial litigation practice, with particular interests in finance litigation, company and insolvency. As well as being a committee member of BICBA and a longstanding member of the NCCBA, he is on the founders’ committee of the Northern Fraud Lawyers’ Association, which will launch in September 2019.
