High Court NI role for Michael Humphries QC

JURISDICTIONS

Mr. Justice Humphreys was sworn into office on the 15th February 2021 by the Lord Chief Justice of Northern Ireland, Sir Declan Morgan.

Mr. Justice Humphreys graduated from Oxford University in 1993 and was called to the Bar in 1994.  He took silk in 2011.  His practice at the Bar focused on commercial law, construction litigation, public procurement, professional negligence and defamation.

He was a member & bursar of the Bar Council of Northern Ireland from 2012 – 2016 and was previously appointed as a Temporary High Court Judge in January 2020.
